Marina di Camerota

Every year many tourist are attracted by the still intact beauty of  Marina di Camerota, called “la perla del cilento”, for its splendid blue sea, very fine sand and crystal clear waters, enchanting bays and caves.  This “ pearl”  lives on a coastal arch, immersed in a vast  expansion of century old olive trees, between two small promontories, surmounted by Saracen towers. In the inhabited centre there is a little paving stone square with the church on the south eastern olde there is a castle, which once belonged to the Marquis.

Marina di Camerota coast has the most varied landform, from the low sandy to the high and rocky shores, with suggestive and prehistoric caves, made internationally famous by the discovery of the archeological relics of the “homo camerotensis”

 The rugged coastline, covered with rich natural vegetation, with its caves and beaches, offers very suggestive places. The famous natural Port of Infreschi (the photo), Cala Fortuna, Cala Monte di Luna, Le Sirene, Cala del Cefalo, the pinewood of Mingardo, designated as a natural park for its beauty and wealth of environmental items. For this reason, the Region Campania was lowed first by greeks and then by Romanpeople. It is impossible to describe briefly Pompei, Ercolano,  Paestum, Reggia di Caserta and our Natural Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano.

 The San Antonio Residence is situated on San’t Antonio hill, in Lentiscosa a hamlet of the Comune of Camerota, at about 3 km from Marina di Camerota, located into the National Park of Cilento, overlooking the wonderful coast of Cilento, it is situated on a natural terrace.  It’s particularly strategic position is a perfect combination for sea and nature fonds. A suitable place for quiet nights and relax holidays in complete contact with nature, the owners’kindness and availability. The Residence, of family owned business provides apartaments, nice smallvillas   All living units are immersed in an expansions of century old olive trees and pine-trees. We offer tipicaly food in our Ristorante "Borgo Sant' Antonio"

•        Apartament type 1:  double unit with 4/5 beds (double and bunk beds), kitchen with cooker and over, crockery and fridge, bathroom with shower and bath (some of them only with shower), toilet, wash-basin, some of them with bidet, fan Tv set in bedroom. Some of these units overlook the sea and someones the hill.
•       Apartament type 2:  double unit with  double  bed, kitchen with cooker and over, crockery and fridge, bathroom with shower and bath (some of them only with shower), toilet, wash-basin, some of them with bidet, fan Tv set in bedroom. All the units overlook the sea.
•        Apartament typ3 3: ground floor single unit with 2/3 beds (double bed and, on request a third bed), kitchen with cooker and oven, crockery and frigde, bathroom with shower, toilet, fan tv in bedroom. Before the unit, a little gravel garden with a gazebo, table and chairs
•      Apartament type 4:  ground floor double unit with 4/5 beds  in 2 double rooms (upon request an added bed), in each room a bathroom with shower, toilet,  wash-basin, kitchen with cooker and oven, crockery and fridge, tv in kitchen.  Before the unit, a little gravel garden with a gazebo, table and chairs

Small Villas: Double units with 4 beds, a double room and another one with bunkbeds, bathroom with toilet, wash-basin, shower, little kitchen with cooker and oven, crockery and frigde, a great terrace overlooks the sea, with table, chairs and deck chairs

BY CAR:

Coming from north, take the autostrada SA-RC, exit Battipaglia, then follow SS18 to Agropoli, Vallo della Lucania, dircction Sapri, then exit Poderia direction Palinuro-Marina di Camerota, following the direction signs to Lentiscosa

Coming from south, take the autostrada SA-RC, exit Buonabitacolo, then the highway to Policastro-Palinuro direction Roccagloriosa, then following the direction signs to Lentiscosa

BY TRAIN:

Railway line: SA-RC, get of al Pisciotta station, then take regular bus service to Marina di Camerota, and Lentiscosa
